È stato soppresso a seguito della riforma amministrativa, detta mwhwProgramma Callicrate, in vigore dal gennaio mwia2011cite-ref-2[2] ed è ora compreso nel comune di mwjqEretria.

Storia

Famosa nell'antichità col nome di "Amarinto" (in mwkqgreco antico: mwkgἈμαρύνθια) in quanto vi si svolgevano le splendide mwkwAmarisie (mwlaἈμαρύσια o mwlqἈμαρύνθια) in onore di mwlgArtemidecite-ref-3[3],cite-ref-4[4].
